Questions before I start planning my trip to South East Asia

I intend to be in South East Asia for at least two full months. At least the length of 60 days!

Here are all the countries which I intend to visit NEXT YEAR.

Brunei
Malaysia
Indonesia
East Timor
Singapore
Myanmar (Burma)
Thailand
Cambodia
Laos
Vietnam

These are questions which I pose for myself.

Which are the CHEAPEST routes to take?
Which travel agency do I check for the best deals if I am leaving for Malaysia on May 2014?
How do I book ALL of my accommodations in ADVANCE? Which hostels? Which motels? Which hostels?
Who are my friends over there?
How do I save money on food and drinks? Maybe I can bring a portable water heater.
What are the best dates for fun events in these countries? When are the free events? Free venues?
What are the particular immigration/tourist laws in each country that I have to be aware of?
What are the customs or cultural nuances that I have to brush up in?


And so on... a lot more questions to ask and answer before I go.
